If you are unfamiliar with Indira’s Kitchen, please allow me to take a moment to introduce you to the site. The first thing you should know is that Indira’s Kitchen is a blog or a personal website created and maintained by me, Indira. This is my personal website. Think of this site as me sharing the recipes in my recipe binder with you. I invite you to try the recipes and if you would like, leave constructive feedback in the comments.

I am originally from Kochi, a city on the south west coast of India. As part of my husband’s work I had the opportunity to travel and live in various parts of India. All of these places have influenced the way I cook food. I had the wonderful opportunity to participate and be the first prize winner of a cooking competion, “Pachakarani”, hosted by Dr. Lakshmi Nair on Kairali TV.
