Ingredients for Arabic spice powder:
2 tablespoon whole black pepper
1 tablespoon Cumin (Jeera)
2 tablespoon whole Corriander
4 numbers – 1 inch Cinnamon stick
1 tablespoon Cloves
1 tablespoon star Anise
2 tablespoon Paprika
1 tablespoon dry Ginger
1 teaspoon grated nutmeg
Preparation of Arabic Spice Powder:
1. Dry roast the whole spices in a small pan over medium-high heat, tossing frequently to prevent scorching, until very fragrant, about 3-4 minutes.
2. Allow the spices to cool and then transfer them to spice or coffee grinder along with the powdered spices and grind them to fine powder.
3. Store the Arabic spice powder in air tight glass container.
